Welcome to the Junior and Senior Infant page. There are 9 Junior Infants and 22 Senior Infants in Ms. Burke's busy classroom! We have been very busy since starting school in September, learning lots of new things and making new friends. Take a look at some of the pictures below!

The School Garden We are so lucky to have a wonderful school garden in Carnaun N.S. We will be harvesting our vegetables this week. We planted an oak tree and an alder tree this week as part of our tree day celebrations. |

Teddy Bear's Hospital
We had a fantastic trip to the Teddy Bear's Hospital in NUIG. Everyone brought their teddy with them on the day. We started off by meeting the doctors and describing what was wrong with our teddies. Then we brought them to the surgery where they were stitched up and sewn if they needed it. After that it was time for the x-rays. And then we left our teddies aside for even more fun.....bouncy castle time. After that we brought the teddies to the pharmacy. Finally we had our faces painted. Such a brilliant day for us!
